Finally to painting! I’m pleased to release my first video on oil painting. This work is painted using the all prima method. Alla prima does not mean “wet on wet” like you will hear it called. It is Italian for “at once” and refers to doing a painting in one session before it dries. This means you paint much more direct than you would if you were choosing to layer your painting up. I will continue to release videos on painting still life, landscapes, portraiture and other fun projects I come up with in the weeks to come. My goal is to speed up my painting and video release process while simultaneously increasing the quality of both at the same time. Thank you so much for supporting my work and please let me know how I can improve my videos and what you would like to see me draw or paint.
